Those little charms are made of thick leather. The ornaments are burnt into it. The rings are chainmail rings.

Unfortunately not anymore... My soldering rod is broken...

Well, I've got a book launch to plan, and one of the prizes/give-aways I'd like to do is something like a key ring with this particular symbol (which is essentially the symbol of my Time Speaker Universe, and the greater not-for profit organisation I plan on creating once I get money). Maybe five of them would be awesome. So, let me know if you fix your soldering rod. :D
