At the moment I am working on a project that is bigger and more time consuming, than I thought...
I want to create a character reference sheet for Cronachan. You know... references, descriptions of his looks, his equipment etc. For this I want to paint several small pictures of him and said equipment.... and that takes time. Especially the small things like magical belt buckles, his blade, Dochas etc.
This way I define some details more, which is good though AND I can use them in later works
Since it is much work, I decided to post each little painting of him on its own, for I put some effort into it!
This is the first of the reference series. Cronachan in his casual, everyday clothing. Laced pants, blue tunic and OF COURSE his blade...
The pillar I designed myself after a reference rendered for me by =Mavrosh
Whoever looks closely... yes... I was inspired by *Legend Of The 5 Rings* with the scorpions! It is supposed to be a typical Dawarda pillar.

Hach, er sieht wieder mal zum Anbeißen aus. Von Kopf bis Fuß der noble man.
Wie unverschämt elegant er da an der Deko lehnt. Das muss ihm erstmal einer nachmachen.
Und wie arrogant er von dort aus das vorbei defilierende Volk mustern könnte. Was heißt "könnte" - er tut es. Das muss ihm keiner vormachen.
Er ist es so gewohnt. Wir sind ihn so gewohnt.
Kommt Mädels, ehe er vor Langeweile schlechte Laune bekommt, verderben wir ihm die im Ansatz. Wir brauchen Wein. Und Erdbeeren. Und Bananen! Und Schokolade. Und was -einen Wasserfall? Au ja, gute Idee. Nee, würd ich nicht mit 'nem Glas Wasser versuchen. Lieber mit 'nem Bild. Wie -Niagarafälle? Jaaa, die sind Klasse!
Haben wir alles?
Okay, Ausschwärmen! Umzingeln! Verwöhnen!
Diese hinreißend langen Beine - raaawwwrr!- in diesen -nochmal raaawwwrr!- heißen Schnürhosen, haaach. Die hohen Stiefel -raaawwwrr die dritte!- sind ganz bestimmt wunderbar bequem. Sie verdecken nur leider einiges von der Hose. Na ja, die kann er ja ausziehen. Die Stiefel, mein ich. Als erstes.
Das kühle Grün im Hintergrund ist Klasse.
Der Cronachan-Schriftzug auch; invertiert wirkt der wie ein Relief.
