Fiesel is ready for the fair now. I added another hour of work and dressed him properly. So all in all... I used fabric scraps and put Fiesel together in roughly 5 hours of work. An OOAK plushie in medieval style.
Fiesel is adorable! (What means the name?). I love plushies of this kind, handmade. Without plastic eyes or sophisticated dressings. Only some fabric and stuffing. When I was a child I had a bear like this and was by far my favorite. Was broken a thousand times and the cork balls popped out by everywhere. My mother sewed over and over again. When it was nearly empty with the passage of time, my father filled with sand, but the time came when it no longer could do anything more to mend it. I love Fiesel! It brings to my mind many fond memories.
The name means nothing special. It is just some cute name.
I love those simple plushies too. You can *think* much more emotions into a simple face, than in a perfectly naturalistic one. And like your bear... I had a hare with red pants... I LOVED him!
Oh, der fertige Fiesel! Du hast immer so tolle Ideen.
