This elaborate frame I painted myself for my latest picture of Cronachan. I thought it is well worth of being shown on itself. it is a big file and free to use for everybody.
Rules... PLEASE... since I painted this myself and put some effort in it... don't claim it as your own, give credit if you use it and a fav would be nice... I would be very happy, if you show me, how you used it via a link or such...
Used it again... [link] Submitted this to a stock-group, which means I made stock out of stock. A thing, I try to avoid usually! Which totally fits to the message. I would have asked before, if my mind had worked properly.
So, do you come along with it? Is the credit ok for you?
Though I wouldn't say that it is generally ok to create stock from stock. If somebody else uses the newly created stock and then another... somewhere along the way the credit to the respective stock-owners will sure get lost and that is not the original intention. The original intention of stock is to create something NEW with it, being creative. Not to make stock out of stock.
But you got me thinking and I might add something to my rules
Thatīs exactly, what Iīm thinking... credit will get lost sooner or later. good example: [link] and then look at [link] from the person who provided the floor...
This piece covers more than one topic for me - else I would have called it "stock rules" But itīs about life in general. You need rules to come along... if you stick to them 100% you get in trouble. So this is a deviation from my own rules about how to use stock.
I donīt have the technical opportunities to avoid theft of my pics. Therefore I give it away for free. Thatīs why I have so much stock in my gallery - I hate watermarks. I consider cc-licence as very practical - itīs accepted everywhere and not too complicated.
Yes, of course - I want to see, what people do with MY stock, therefore Iīm eager to show, what I do with theirs. And itīs ultra-easy on dA to do so. (nice stock rules btw)
