YAY!!!!
FINALLY I finished another painting of my art challenge I started a year ago!
This was suggested by *Mavrosh and the whole picture was inspired by her version *Red*

I wanted to train my skills in facial expressions and to get the HATE across.
PS CS2 and HOURS... It took LONG to get the expression right...


This scene took place long before Cronachan came to the surface. His elder sister and superior Dorchalinn hated her brother. She grabbed EVERY opportunity to harass him, to have a go at him.
If possible, he defended himself or even started to fight back, especially, when he got better at fighting... Still his sister was better... always.
Cronachan still hates her with all his heart.

Here he wears a light armor made of shimmering cave lizard leather. It is studded not with metal but with chitine of giant bombardier beetles. It is black with hues of blue, purple and green... like a scarabaeus...

Wow. I love the expression! I can see the hate in his eyes. Scarabaeidae? Awesome!!! About time someone did that ... I love it. Plus the coloring is awesome. XD A friend of mine collects beetles, and their shells can be very beautiful.
