This is my latest commission for 
Obviously one of the circle series
She asked for the two main characters of her story *Of Lies And Legacies*, the huge and strong Tymr and the agile half-elvin acrobat Martin. They were supposed to be in a sort of defensive fighting stance and both in ONE painting. Now that was a challenge, above all Martin was supposed to throw his shuriken.
But a challenge is interesting too! First thing was looking for poses... hundreds of them. The *ninja-action* being my main issue. Finally I found a perfect reference [link] by

So with this pose I started to work and it was difficult but fun too.
The two men are VERY different in height and built so that is definitely on purpose, the throwing stars were new to me... art-wise. In this case they are three-bladed and folding I was told. Both characters don't wear much decorated clothing but I couldn't help myself and added a border here and some decoration here and there
