Medieval Bed

Well...
I am member of a group called the *Vaganten*. We are no club, just a few friends who try to attend to medieval fairs with our medieval camp and costumes. we create the most of or clothing ourselves and the whole camp, benches, tents, decoration is all our own. You'll see nothing *modern* there, except glasses and other basic needs.

I don't have many photos digitalized but I thought a small teaser might be nice.
This is my bed and my decoration and the tent Lothar and me live in during fairs. The tent has a middle mast of 6 meter (20 feet) length, the tent is square 4,5 x 4,5 meters (15x15 feet).
On the bed are several blankets and the skin is from a pony.

This is no LARP. Though the *Vaganten* do not claim to be completely historically correct, there is no fantasy character or foam weapon to be found in our camp. We have no real fighters in our group, rather wandering folk or scholars... but every weapon is real and can be used. Because of that and the fact that many things are self made or simply precious, difficult to come by, whatever, the different camps are bordered by ropes etc, to keep people from just trampling through our *living room* without asking.
