I painted this as a birthday present for my mom 4 years ago. Acrylics on canvas.
Size about 30cmx20cm. My mom liked a similar landscape I painted before and so I crafted this for her. No reference, just imagination. Time about two hours.

If you were here I could show you how to do that. It is easier, when you really do it. Since I saw your impressive pencil skills I think you would be rather good at traditional painting!!!

That's the thing, Sio! I have a lot more control with a pencil than I do with paint! I think for me I need that control over minute details.

Could be... Though you could manage with really thin brushes, like with the miniature painting.... But hey, each and every artist is different! That is the most intriguing fact of being an artist. *choose your weapon* ... ehm... tool... whatever ;)
