This was actually inspred by Mavrosh's work... again 
She inspires me often. This time with this picture... Hot Chocolate With Rum
Here is my version of a cozy winter night.
I tried to do everything in *Christmas colours* and warm light. Again a saturated but dark palette, the usual. This time the new undercut is like it is meant to be. Not that high... I am learning.
Done in Photoshop CS6 and at least 10 hours alltogether... though it took me days

Wann immer ich es sehe, lächle ich und atme tief durch. Wunderschöne romantische, ruhige Stimmung.
Und wunderschöne Farbpalette. Es gefällt mir auch sehr, wie du die einzelnen Farbtöne über das ganze Bild verteilt immer wieder aufnimmst. Und all die liebevollen Details. Eine Tasse, aus der es dampft. Das Muster auf dem Pulli. Kordeln. Eisblumen. Haarsträhnen. Die Reflexion der Kerze...
In meiner Vorstellung ist es ruhig in diesem Raum. Keine Musik. Vielleicht ein Kaminfeuer - oder ist das schon zu laut?- Ich weiß es nicht.
Chronachan strahlt Ruhe aus. Er wirkt so entspannt. Dochas scheint das zu genießen. Mann mit Katze hat etwas sehr anziehendes.
Am liebsten würde ich mir auch eine Tasse Kakao nehmen, mich ganz leise zu ihm auf den Boden setzen und vorsichtig an die Couch lehnen.
Nicht stören, nichts sagen. Augen schließen und einfach mit in seine Ruhe eintauchen.
Ich musste endlich mal wieder eines deiner schönen Bilder kommentieren.
