First Attempt At Wacom Bamboo

This is my FIRST attempt ever to use my BRAND NEW WACOM BAMBOO TABLET and photoshop on one of my drawings, so please don't be too harsh.

Until now I used photoshop only for slight touch-ups like hue, lightness, cropping etc, to make a piece look more like the original on the screen.
Here I took the same drawing and wanted to create the same effect as in this piece [link] , only better. Hence I scrapped the other picture... it was just a test.
I found out how to work with the pen, tried to use different techniques, textures, patterns and five layers!
*is rather proud of herself*
Everything works better with a tablet!!!

It was interesting to take the same drawing as the day before and see the differences in working... and I learned a few new things! Learning by doing!
Now I'm satisfied with the outcome. There are still some flaws but hey... for my first tablet piece...

This is Cronachan, my favourite character. Cronachan belongs to me!!! So please don't use this deviation for... whatever!!! Most of all... don't claim him for your own! He is MINE!!!
