How Dare You

I once commissioned *HeilyAens to draw my OC Cronachan after the following snippet of a story...
During my vacation I finally painted a sketch of the same theme I had on my harddrive for ages... Still practising facial expressions here... No reference used.

„How dare you?“

Cronachan fumed, his handsome face turning into a mask of hate and disgust, eyes aglow.
All heads turned to the door and the man near the bar let go of the little girl whose dress he just had ripped apart and stepped back, looking for help. There was none. Nobody in this seedy joke of a tavern would dare to oppose the noble who just entered.
The child, maybe 8 years old, pretty curls in a mess, held back her tears, grabbed her torn dress and ran over to her older brother, hiding behind him. Now the meafar on her shoulder was clearly visible and somebody able to interpret it whispered ‘House Fanai*.

Not a second Cronachan let his attention slip. There were about two dozen people in this room, but he focused on those three men Cathu has been with. They were dead meat. Faster than lightning he was between them, slamming the first one with his fist, whirling around to kick the second one away and finally sending the one who touched his sister into oblivion by ripping out his throat with the bare hand.
He didn’t earn the meafar of *quick hunter* for nothing. The two he knocked down he finished by breaking their necks, while the man with the torn out throat still lived, gargling sounds escaping his wound. Cronachan bent down, wiping his bloody hand without any emotion on the tunic of the fallen.

“You picked the wrong girl.*

Nobody said a word or did anything, while Cronachan took the hand of the child and simply went out.
