Vitruvian Cronachan

Description

I always loved the *Vitruvian Man* by Leonardo Da Vinci [link] and wanted to do the same with my Cronachan, showing this way, that the proportions of an Helmorui differ from human ones.
Since I like the whole style of the picture I tried to copy it as best as I was able to, from the pose of feet and hands over the whole layout and so forth, though I kept my Helmorui in mind.
They have black skin with white Meafar on it, they write on dark fungus paper with white ink and they use of course their own writing...

The watchful observer will notice the similarities and differences to the original quite well I suppose.

First of all... the vitruvian rule of proportions does NOT apply here. Though Cronachan stands perfectly in a circle here, the center of the circle is NOT his navel, but slightly lower. The square is no square but a rectangle and its middle is not his crotch, but again, a little lower. He is far less bulky compared to the original drawing too.

Second is the whole shape of the paper and the layout. I copied it closely.

Third is the writing. Since in the original Leonardo wrote in italian something about the proportions and such, I did the same in Sinigh, the writing I invented for my Helmorui. OF COURSE I did that in mirror writing, like in the original and I tried to make the writing not so perfectly straight, again like the original.

All in all I am very satisfied with the result and hope you like it too!
